Last fall, David Whitaker, Steve Sever, and I played at a memorial service remembering homeless folks. I was grateful for an opportunity to support others and to honor my cousin, Mark Hopeman, who died homeless, from an illness that is now treatable, with early intervention -- bipolar disorder with psychosis.
